A fair warning! It takes time and passion to get here. You can optimize things, but it still takes sweat and hard work just like anything else in life.
I have started making money using Adsense sites 6 or 7 years ago. A lot of things have changed since then. My specialty is building huge content websites. The downside to that is you have to actively promote them and wait a long time till you start cashing in. However, when you start making money, it’s recurring money that come in month after month with low maintenance (for the lazy people .. read no maintenance 
)
But at some point, I wanted to teach a good friend of mine, Traian to start making money doing what I do. Like a lot of newbies, Traian had a day job (as a web designer) and could not afford to work and wait a long time for the results. This is how the challenge of creating an optimized Adsense site that will grow on fast rate was born.
As a side note, Adsense sites are very valuable and can be used as quick cash system also if you ever decide to flip them over Flippa or WarriorForum Sites for Sale section.
Truth is, you only need 3 things when it comes to making money with Adsense:
1) You need a template with high CTR rate
As we use Adsense to monetize our traffic, it’s only logical that a high CTR will bring in more money. I have asked Traian to build a custom wordpress theme that will go hand in hand with the promotional techniques I use and have a lot of customizable features.

2) You need traffic – and lots of it
It is no shocker that in order to make money with Adsense you need traffic. Adsense has prohibited arbitrage techniques some time ago, so that’s out of the question. You need to have organic search engine traffic in order to make this work.
I am not going to give you spoilers here, but in the main ebook you will find 3 promotional techniques that you can employ to boost your rankings and make Google fall in love with your site. You will learn to leverage other people’s hard work and know exactly what will work for you. I know this has been talked about before, however I find it surprising that some of the core details have been left out in every course I’ve gone through.
In most cases, when I go after a keyword, I like to take over the second page of google’s results. If you have 5 or 6 web 2.0 properties in the second page of results all pointing to your blog post, it’s just a matter of time till your blog pops up high in the first page.
3) You need to work consistently on your website
Some people focus on sniper sites (both when it comes to Adsense or affiliate sites). Although that works, I find it’s a whole lot easier if you shift your mentality a little and think about building a large, authority site.
In time, you will do less promotional work and focus only on the content. If you done a good job in the past, your content should rank high just because your site has gained a lot of google trust.
If you can’t spare 3-4 hours a day to work on your new site, this will not work.

There’s a lot to it. But, the key component is that each page can be optimized and have its own header pictures that will help out boost your Adsense CTR. Don’t leave empty handed! I figure, even if you decide not to buy my product, I should share some of my experience with you so that you won’t make the same mistakes I made:
*** Don’t build lyrics websites
At some point I have decided I want to create a lyrics site, just because lyrics keywords have lots and lots of searches. So where’s lots of traffic there’s lots of money. Right? Wrong…
I have managed to build up a lot of traffic to the site. It had 20.000 Adsense impressions per day. Earnings? $20/day
The problem? The adsense ads were triggered by the lyrics of the song. Say the lyrics were something along the lines of “I wanna lay you down on a bed of roses” will trigger a “Buy roses” ad which is really not targeted.
***What to do if you have horrible 0.x – 1.x % CTR
The way that I dealt with that and actually gone up to 3-4% CTR was to place 2 adsense ads in close proximity. One ad will only accept text while the other would only accept images.
The image ad draws people’s eyes to the second text ad and thus, I got a higher CTR.
***If I place 3 ads on a page I’ll make more money
The common belief for newbies is that if you have more ads on page, there’s a better chance for visitors to click on them, making you more money.
Wrong. The more ads you place on a page, the more your website starts to look like a website full of advertisement. Although you may get more clicks, you will get lower CPC ads.
The best way to go about it is : Where is the hottest point in the page that draws people attention? Usually it’s somewhere in the middle of the page, but depending on your site layout and pictures, could be somewhere else. Find it and place a tiny ad there. If you only place one google ad in the hottest spot on your page, you will get maximum Adsense earnings.
***Text ads vs Image ads
Unless your CTR is really horrible I recommend you use ads that accept text only. The reason is quite simple.
Image ads are clicked more frequently than text ads. This means that they usually come with lower CPC than text ads because that’s the way google adwords works. The higher the CTR for the advertiser, the lower the cost.
This is my personal experience, some people may have different angles. For me, it’s text only.
***Color of Adsense links
The best way to use Adsense units, it’s to integrate them smoothly in your site. Use the same color for the Adsense links with the color you use for your site links.
It is better to have your ads blend in smoothly and look part of your website than look like a text advertisement.
