SEO Ranking Changes for 2009

There is an interesting video on WebProNews which discusses the future of SEO, specifically in the first half 2009.

It discusses that search engine results will be more tailored to specific users – therefore your ranking will vary depending on who performs the searches.

Its claimed that search engine will analyze your previous searches and also your geographic location and bias the results accordingly.

It’s also claimed that the number of variables that making up Google’s ranking will increase from 128 to 200 and therefore the emphasis on things such as linking will be decreased.
